Hi everyone! I am loving these Top 5 lists! When I was asked to participate, I knew immediately what list I would put together.

Introducing.....

TORY'S TOP 5 RIDES AT DISNEYLAND AND/OR
DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

5. Radiator Springs Racers. This ride opened a couple of years ago and remains wildly popular, so if the hubs and I want to ride it, we either try and get there really early in the morning or we wait in the single rider line. Otherwise, the more-than-two-hour wait is a bit too long for my taste.

4. The Tower of Terror, recently redone as Guardians of the Galaxy - Breakout. Since I haven't yet ridden this freefall thrill ride in its new iteration, I can't comment on it (although a hardcore Disney friend of mine has proclaimed it exciting). But Tower of Terror was always one of my favorites because of its spooky, Twilight Zone theme.

3. Jungle Cruise. This ride is so dumb. I love it so much. The horrible jokes told by the boat skippers are part of the awesome dumbness. This ride is actually a lot better at Disney World, but the original is still one of my faves.

2. Pirates of the Caribbean. Such a classic! Plus, it's a long ride, which is helpful on hot California summer days. Yo ho, yo ho....

1. Haunted Mansion. There are so many legends and myths and partially-true stories told about this ride! I have yet to see this with my own eyes, but rumor has it that there is a real pet cemetery behind the mansion, out of view of park guests. Plus, at Christmas holiday time, Disney redoes the mansion with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. Who doesn't love a little Jack Skellington? I personally enjoy the Pumpkin King.
